Deliverance is all about Jesus – Matthew 7:22 bible says Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
Luke 10:1-12 bible says Jesus appointed 70 others and sent them hem two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road. But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you. And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, ‘The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’ But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.
Deliverance is all about Jesus, its about His name, who He is, and what He stands for. Casting out demons during deliverance we must use his name. During healing we must use His name all is done in His name. all authority has been given to Him in heaven and on Earth. Deliverance surrounds Jesus it surrounds the Father it surrounds the Holy Spirit. It deals with authority in His name as well as a firm government authority in the spirit
THE PURPOSE of Deliverance is that we all need help. Help is apart of human nature, it's woven within our DNA to either ask someone for help or help someone in need. Getting help connects us with others, and it is important for us to embrace it. God created Adam and the Bible says, He looked and did not find anything that He already created that was suitable for Adam; so He made Adam a help mate which was Eve. God himself is an embodiment of help. In the book of Exodus chapter 3 when Moses sees the burning bush God speaks to Moses and tells Moses that “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey. We are human being was created for a need for help this is why we are also called his sheep to rely on him and not on our own strength
- We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God none of us is perfect especially since we were in the world. Being apart of the world and now coming to Christ, there are things that we've attached ourselves to that holds us bound. Spiritual doors that we have opened knowingly and unknowingly that needs to be shut. If not, it will hinder our walk with Christ. This contributes to the high backsliding rate because many of us get saved, but we don’t go through deliverance to shut these doors that we opened in our state of darkness when we were blind in the world.
- Generational bondage can follow us into adulthood how would we ever be set free? Deliverance is needed to set us free from generational bondage. We can not pick our family or family members when were placed here, we didn’t have a choice in the matter. With that being said, there are generational bloodline curses that we may be attached to that needs to be broken. ie: Abraham a prophet of God lied and said Sarah was is sister and it caused disruption in the camp of king Abimilech in which God struck the king and his household. Yes, Abraham lied and this lie fell on Issac. Issac did the same thing and said Rebekah was his sister when the king tried to take her. Isaac had Jacob and Jacob inherited the lying spirit. Same thing with Jabez, his mother named him Jabez which means pain and sorrow; should he walk in that calling for the rest of his life? No he should not, and this is why he sought the Lord God for deliverance.
- Revelation 12:12 says Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” This scripture shows us that Heavens are rejoicing because Satan was thrown. However, because he was casted down on Earth. We are the ones that have to face him and fight him on a daily basis, both Satan and his army. Because there is woe on the Earth, we will always be a target for infliction, delay, infirmity etc. We will always be targeted as long as we are on Earth where the enemy dwells.
