For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Salvation is a gracious gift from God. The definition of “grace” is “unmerited divine
assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification”.
In other words, it is a gift given to someone that has done nothing to deserve it.
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
The main question is what is SIN?
Sin" generally refers to an act or thought that is considered a transgression against divine law or moral principles, often viewed as a violation of God's will or commandments. It is often understood as an offense against religious or moral law, a transgression of divine law, or a failure to live up to the will or commands of God.
We all have sinned and have fallen at some point in our lives. Jesus Christ was sent to redeem us from everlasting Hell fire. He was sent to bridge the way for us to make it back home to the Father in heaven.
Faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior is the only “step” to salvation. The message of the Bible is that we have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23) and need a Savior. Because of our sin, we deserve to be eternally separated from God (Romans 6:23). But, because of His love for us (John 3:16), God took on human form and died in our place. Jesus took the punishment that we deserve (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). He then rose from the dead (Matthew 28:5). God promises forgiveness of sins and eternal life to all who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior (John 1:12; 5:24). To receive Jesus by faith is to turn from sin and embrace His death and resurrection as sufficient to make us right with God.
Receiving Jesus Christ is as easy as ABC
- A: Acknowledging that we have transgressed and sinned and have fallen short of his glory
- B: Believing that Jesus Christ is Lord that he died for our sins and he is alive and is risen
- C: Confessing with your mouth that you are born again.
If you are ready to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior. Pray this Salvation Prayer:
Heavenly Father. I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of my Sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that Jesus Christ is your Son, and that he died on the cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, and I ask you right now to come into my life and be my Lord and personal Savior. I repent of my Sins and will worship you all the days of my life! Satan, I denounce you - You have no authority to operate in my life. Heavenly Father, Because your word is truth. I confess with my mouth that I am Born Again, and cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen!
